If you are around during the week (at home with kids, recently retired, work shifts) then we have a number of get togethers that you might like to come to:
Knit, Natter & Sew: Monday 10 to 11.30am @ The Broughton (Pub)
Do you like to make things? Would you like to learn or share your crochet or knitting skills? Or do you simply like to chat!
Knit, Natter & Sew is an informal group for anyone who likes to make things. Bring along what you are currently working on or join in knitting squares! No cost, just buy a cuppa and enjoy a few hours of good company.
Soup & Sandwich: Tuesday (2nd & 4th in the month) 12 to 1pm @ Broughton Pavilion
Are you retired? Over fifty and at home without kids? Would you like to meet more people in your local area?
Soup & Sandwich is a twice monthly group where you can enjoy some really good homemade soup and a roll (and occasional cakes!) all for £1.50. It is a chance to meet you neighbours and relax in a kid free space!
The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday in the month and you can just turn up.
Exploring Faith: Wednesday 10 to 11.30am @ Keith’s House
This is a space to explore faith more deeply through bible study, reading and discussion (and coffee and laughter). It is a child free space.
If you are interested in joining the group speak to Keith Straughan who leads the group. firstname.lastname@example.org
Talking Point: Thursday 1pm to 2.30pm @ Ruth’s House
Would you like the chance to think about some of life’s big questions in a small relaxed group?
At Talking Point we combine drinking tea, eating cake, chatting about kids with discussions about faith and life. We laugh, we cry and we even pray! If you need to bring kids that’s fine (toys provided). Get in touch with Ruth if you want to know more.
Coffee Morning: Monthly on 3rd Friday 10 to 11.30am @ Broughton Pavilion
A chance to enjoy a cuppa, some homemade cakes (all money to charity) and good company! Just drop in, on your own or bring your friends.
