Holy Week & Easter

There are lots of ways to join in the Holy Week and Easter services and celebrations at Church without Walls. If you haven't come along to anything before this is a great time to dip your toe in and find out what it is all about.

Wednesday 28th March
Breaking Bread 7pm to 7.30pm @ St Lawrence, Broughton
A simple communion in this beautiful church.

Maundy Thursday 29th March
Maundy Thursday 7.30pm @ Broughton Pavilion
This is a quiet time together remembering the last meal Jesus shared with his disciples.There will be a simple shared meal (food provided), prayers, readings and communion.

Good Friday 30th March
Easter Craft Church 10.30 to 12 noon @ Broughton Pavilion.
A chance for the whole family to worship and learn together in a relaxed fashion on Good Friday: there will be crafts and activities for children and a simple closing service where we learn about the Easter story.


Good Friday Mediation 3pm @ St Lawrence
This service will offer time for quiet reflection on the events of Good Friday.

Holy Saturday 31st March
Holy Saturday Easter Vigil 8pm @ St Lawrence
A time of anticipation, prayer and reflection


Easter Sunday 1st April
Easter Morning Communion Service 9.30am @ St Lawrence
A quiet traditional communion to begin our Easter celebrations!

Easter Cafe Church 11am @ Broughton Fields School
Join us for our family Easter celebration. We will begin ‘brunch’ (pastries, bacon butties & more!) together. We will listen to the Easter story and there will be prayers, music and an Easter egg hunt as we celebrate together. We will finish with a family communion around the table
