Advent Forest Church

Carol Service

Get into the Christmas spirit as we gather in this beautiful medieval Church for our Christmas Carol service. There will be readings and prayers, lots of carols to sing and a chance to remember what Christmas is all about!
There will be a collection for the Church Conservation Trust during the service so please bring some cash as a donation if possible.
The church is unheated so dress warmly - blankets provided!
The service is organised by Friends of St Lawrence and Church Without Walls.
Beer & Carols
Wednesday 20th December 7pm @ The Broughton (outside)
Get into the Christmas spirit as we sing some carols, enjoy a drink and remember what Christmas is all about!
We will be accompanied by brass players and we will be outside in the seated area at the front of The Broughton Hotel. This is an outside event so do dress warmly! There will be an opportunity to grab a drink from the bar (maybe even some mulled wine!) and sing your hearts out!
Crib Service
Sunday 24th December 11am and 3pm @ St Lawrence Church, Broughton
A fantastic way to start the Christmas celebrations with a family-friendly retelling of the nativity story. There will be carols, prayers and a chance to remember what Christmas is all about.
Due to the small size of the church we have two services both of which will be identical.
Please dress warmly as the church is unheated.
Midnight Communion Service
Sunday 24th December 11.30pm @ St Lawrence Church, Broughton
A candle-lit service of Holy Communion, prayer and reflection.
A wonderful way to celebrate the start of Christmas.
