Easter @ Church without Walls
Come and join us for a wide range of services and activities during Holy Week and Easter. There are times of quiet and reflection as well as more lively family focused events. Everyone is welcome!
Palm Sunday Forest Church: Reflection and Walk
Sunday 24th March 11am to 12.30pm (approx) at Willen Lake (north)
Maundy Thursday Gathering
Thursday 28th March 7.30pm to 9pm @ Christ the King, Kent's Hill
A shared meal, breaking bread, communion, prayers and reflections.
As Jesus gathered with his disciples to share a meal on the night before he died so we gather as a community to share together and pray together during this holy week.
In many ways this is a combination of Dinner Church (a meal and communion together) and Sacred Space (quiet prayer and meditation). Do join us for this special gathering.
Easter for Everyone!
Friday 29th March 10.30am to 12 noon @ Broughton Fields School
Crafts, games and fun for all the family as we learn together what Easter is all about.
We will be making Easter gardens, retelling the Easter story and having fun together. Refreshments available. FREE but donations welcome. PLEASE BOOK.
Please also bring cash as there will be a charity fundraiser of 'name the bunny'.
Easter Sunday Communion
Sunday 31st March 9.30am @ St Lawrence Church
Come and celebrate Easter….the day we remember that Jesus is risen!
A quiet traditional communion to begin our Easter celebrations! This will be a more reflective service held in this beautiful medieval Church. It will be followed by our Easter Cafe Church at 11am at Broughton Fields School.
Come for some or all of our Easter Sunday celebrations!
Easter Sunday Celebration
Sunday 31st March 10.45 to 12.30pm @ Broughton Fields Primary School
Join us for this family friendly celebration of Easter.
We start with toasted hot cross buns and pastries, plus tea and coffee from 10.45am (cash or card donation to cover costs).
We then share in our usual Cafe style worship (including an Easter Egg hunt) and we finish by sharing communion together.
All the family are welcome.
